1 cup butter softened (so far guilty-but it gets better)
3/4 cup oil
2 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
4 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 cup flax seed (can mix with bran)
5 cups rolled oats
2 tsp baking soda
4 cups choco chips
2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
Mix all together. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookies sheet. Bake for 9-12 minutes in a moderate oven of about 350 F.
